My grandparents built the Lee Shed in 1950. It is an old Nantucket cottage with 2
bedrooms and one and a half baths. It comfortably sleeps five. Just a five-minute
walk to town, by beach or by road, no need really to get into your car. There is no
better location for sunrises, boat traffic and shore bird watching. Swimming and
beachcombing are excellent. If you are here in June, you can watch the horseshoe
crabs mating at the shoreline.
Your linens will be lovely, the house will be clean, and the kitchen will have
everything that you need. But a bit of a disclaimer, we have not remodeled the
house in many years so there are some “older”, “rustic” features. Like the ugly
linoleum in the master bath or the washer and dryer in the kitchen. Regardless of
these features please know that we take pride in the cleanliness and readiness of
this rental.
